Logan is a software engineer who spends his weekdays writing code and his weekends hiking, grilling, and arguing about the best hot sauce. He is the proud co-parent of Delilah and an excellent (if overly ambitious) home renovator.

Liz is thoughtful, hilarious, and dangerously good at interior design. She can identify a paint color by name from across a room, keep a plant alive for years, and still somehow agreed to marry someone who burned those burgers. She is Delilah's favorite human (don't tell Logan).

    How We Met

    We met at a mutual friend's backyard cookout in the summer of 2019 — Logan burned the burgers and Liz graciously pretended not to notice.

    First Date

    Our first official date was a rooftop wine bar downtown. We talked until they turned the lights on.

    We Got a Dog

    We adopted Delilah, our Jack Russell Terrier, and immediately agreed that all future major decisions would require her approval.

    The Proposal

    Logan proposed on a foggy morning hike in the Smoky Mountains in March 2024 — ring hidden in a Nalgene, Biscuit wearing a bow tie.

    We Bought a House

    In January 2025 we bought our first home together in Houston — a 1940s craftsman bungalow that we've been slowly (lovingly) fixing up ever since.

    The Big Day

    We'd love for you to be there as we begin the next chapter — hopefully with fewer burned burgers.

David and Susan have been married for over 30 years and are the proud parents of three — including the one who burns burgers. They are thrilled to welcome Liz to the family.

Robert and Karen raised Liz with an eye for beauty and a love of good food — both of which Logan is benefiting from greatly. They are so excited to grow the family by one Logan.

Delilah has been with Logan and Liz since 2021 and has grown into a well-traveled, treat-motivated, and deeply opinionated member of the family. He approved of the venue after an extensive sniff inspection. He will be attending the wedding in some capacity — details TBD, venue permitting.
